Filling the void in your home left by Christmas

29 December 2015

With Christmas starting earlier and earlier and the more sentimental of us getting our decorations up before the clock even has chance to strike midnight on 1st December, we can’t be blamed for feeling a little ‘over it’ by the time Boxing Day comes along.  Some of us eek out the dry, limp tree until New Year, but many of us are bored of the singing Santa, tired of the light switching on/off rigmarole and are ready to strangle the tree with all its dropping needles!

But after the last bauble is packed, ever noticed just how empty the house feels?  Flowers can be the perfect way to combat this and re-energise the home ready for the New Year ahead.  Choose fresh blooms like lilies, roses and gerbera in happy shades of white, pink and yellow to lift your mood and contrast against the heavy rich tones of Christmas.  We do a range of designs to accommodate most spaces. A small bouquet (approx. £30-£45) would be suitable for a side table, medium (approx. £45-£65) for a coffee table and large (approx. £65-£100+) for a dining table or entrance.

After a good clean and a reshuffle of furniture, flowers are a positive way to dress the home to feel welcoming again, though we suggest a little break before embarking on more family entertaining!

Have a look online or swing by the shop next week when we reopen to have a look at the new stock arriving in store.  You’re not the only one who was ready to pack away the glitter for another year!
