Random Acts of Kindness
20 May 2019
For those of you who follow us on social media, you’ll know that we’ve been surprising some deserving people with ‘Random Acts of Kindness’ this year. And, for those of you that don’t follow us, what are you waiting for? Click here for Facebook and here for Instagram to get involved!??
We obviously didn’t invent this lovely concept. The idea of spreading a little happiness through unexpected and selfless act of kindness is one that is rapidly gaining momentum. We decided to get in on the act because, if flowers aren’t one of the most joyous gifts to give and receive, we don’t know what is!
Sometimes we seek your most-deserving nominations, sometimes we hide a few lonely bouquets in and around Didsbury to be discovered, but always our Random Acts of Kindness bouquets are lovingly made to generate a smile…just because!
The idea is simple enough, but just a few t&c’s to bear in mind…
The promoter is: The Flower Lounge (company no.7523714).
The competition is open to anyone, but the recipient of the bouquet must live within a 3 mile radius of The Flower Lounge, 98 Barlow Moor Road, M20 2PN.
There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
To enter, tell us in a comment on the post on Instagram who you would like to nominate. You do not have to tag the person to nominate them.
Deadline for comment is midnight Wednesday 22nd May.
One winner will be selected at random. We will contact the person who nominated on Thursday 23rd May to arrange delivery to the recipient before 5pm.
We will seek permission to take a photo of the recipient with the bouquet and share their name and photo for marketing purposes.
If the recipient is not able to take delivery in person, we will attempt to leave the bouquet with a neighbour and leave a card advising the recipient.
The bouquet will be a florist’s choice hand-tied bouquet. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
