Creative Flower Workshops
I am really excited to be launching our new series of seasonal and creative workshops for all you budding-florists and flower enthusiasts!
If you’ve ever visited us here at The Flower Lounge, Didsbury, you’ll have seen how passionate we are about floristry and how we love to pass on our knowledge and expertise; so you can get the very best from your flowers.
Now, we’re taking it one step further with our bespoke workshops. These workshops will give everyone, whatever their skill level, a chance to learn new techniques and master some of the key principles of floristry. Whether you’re looking for a creative outlet or just a treat for family and friends, we promise you’ll learn lots and plenty of fun!
Our November workshops focus on embracing autumn and all the rich colours and textures, whilst in December we’ll be turning our attention to Christmas, with wreath making and table centre arrangements. Over 2 hours, we’ll show you how to create some stunning designs using seasonal blooms and gorgeous foliage, as well as letting you in on a few trade secrets!

Running the workshops with me will be award winning florist, Mark Entwistle, and we’ll be keeping the workshops small and intimate, only 8 per class, so that everyone gets plenty of hands on experience and guidance.
Each workshop will start with a demonstration on how to choose, prepare, wire and design your flowers into a beautiful bespoke arrangement. With an assortment of flowers to choose from, you will then embark on your own creation…but we promise to be by your side every step of the way!
All flowers, foliage, materials and equipment is supplied, including the vases and containers you need for your design, which of course you can take home and have everyone admire! We’ve even got one of our fave bakers Cakes By Yolk supplying our refreshments…plenty of sugar (and inspirational cake designs) to keep you going.
